It is Eat Whatever You Want Day!
I had begun the celebration a few days earlier so I am not eating everything, but am enjoying what I eat. A few moments ago I finished a bowl of all natural vanilla ice cream made less than 100 miles away and topped with a fresh homemade blackberry sauce. Last August I picked the berries while on a trip to my favorite U-Pick farm. Once home I cleaned and dried the berries, and froze them in a single layer on a baking sheet and placed them in gallon-sized plastic bags.
